Super Lightweight

• The extremely high quality 850 Fill Power down results in a very lightweight duvet.
• The filling in the 3 Tog option weighs only 85 grammes per square metre, the 4.5 Tog is just 110 grammes per square metre.
• In addition, the casing is also superlight – typically 30% lighter than a standard cotton casing. This is significant as the casing can be up to 70% of the total weight.
• The net result is a supersoft, lightweight duvet to help keep you cool through the hot nights.

Thermal washed filling

• 850 Fill Power refers to the quality and loft of the remarkable large down clusters which are hand sorted (the only effective means of extracting this quality of the down and ensuring it meets the standard!).
• The down is treated to the very highest standard. In the cleansing process, pure natural spring water is used to wash the down and it is then steam dried at 135 degrees. The duvet’s Downafresh label shows that it meets the Hygiene Standard European EN12395 for the down-cleansing process.
• The measure for purity of the water used to clean natural fillings is called ‘turbidity’ – this is critical in guaranteeing minimal impurities are left. The rating is 800 which is more than double the required EU standard required.

The Outer Casing (Shell) is a 370 Thread Count Down Proof European Fine Batiste Pure Cotton Fabric. Exceptionally smooth to touch, Batiste is a lighter fabric compared with normal high-quality cotton casings.
• Total weight of this duvet is typically 15% lighter than our closest Pure Down option in the range – it offers therefore the lightest weight to warmth ratio.
• As the filling is exceptionally soft pure down, with no feathers, and the casing has such a high thread count, this minimises the chance of the filling getting through the casing.

The duvet is washable at 30⁰ C and you can tumble dry it on a low heat, but please do this sparingly and do not dry clean. We recommend using a reputable laundry for cleaning.
